Diego 'Thrilled' To Be Playing For Juventus

Juventus unveiled their new jerseys to the public on Wednesday, with Amauri and Diego both present sporting their new numbers.

The former Werder Bremen midfielder chose the number 28, as captain Alessandro Del Piero is the owner of his preferred 10, and spoke about his new opportunity with the Bianconeri.

"I look forward to taking the field. For me it is an honour and pleasure to play with Juve," he explained to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Today is the first time with the jersey on my shoulders, it is a big thrill!"

Diego has been widely regarded as one of the top purchases by a Serie A club this summer and supporters are hoping he can recreate the form he has shown in the Bundesliga over the past few seasons.
